The Client:

The Role:

We are recruiting on our client's behalf experienced / diverse Mechanical Fitters for their new workshop based in Jandakot. You will be maintaining Exciters and Agitators for the mining industry.

Positions: Employment is ongoing casual Monday - Friday Morning and afternoon shift available as per operational needs

Requirements:  

• Trades qualified Mechanical Fitter
• Forklift Ticket Essential
• Can read & utilize Micrometres 
• Experience in mining-related gearbox fitting, stripping, inspections, repairs, assembly, and testing
• Experience in overhauling fixed plant exciters
• Experience with various sizes and makes of gearboxes
• Ability to read technical drawings including Engineering & Assembly drawings
• Previous experience fitting & maintaining gearboxes & engines
• Physically fit, strong all-rounder
• A team player & strong communicator

Summary: Successful candidates will be part of a separate maintenance team, stripping, assembling, calibrating/tuning Agitators for Screens. Due to the nature of the work, there is some manual handling, the bulk of the work is stripping, machining, rebuilding & calibrating.
