Our client is an international industrial service provider to various global sectors - predominantly the Oil, Gas & Power Generation sectors.

Work Scope: Successful candidates will be employed as Advanced Riggers but will need to also do some Trades Assistant work assisting Manual Machinists. those with Scaffolders tickets will be well received

We already have a team on-site, but need additional Riggers/Trades, Assistants. There are various scope of works E.g. overhaul valves on the boilers and feedwater systems at a power station, valves globe, gate, flow control and SRV’s many will require repairs and or component change out to actuators.

The successful candidates will have the following:
  • Advanced Riggers & Dogging Tickets
  • Advanced Scaffolders Ticket (preferred not a must)
  • Clean/current drivers license
  • Current Police Clearance (preferred)
  • Possessing tickets such as working at heights, confined spaces and white card
  • Strong attention to detail & an excellent safety record, strong commitment to OHS
  • Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol testing
  • Ability to pass site induction & testing
  • Exceptional work ethic & attitude towards safety
  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude & experience
  • Previous Muja Collie Powerstation experience & inductions (preferred)

Additional areas of experience & expertise we are looking for are as follows:
  • Confident capable advanced Rigger
  • Can Swinging out Rigs to secondary chain blocks
  • Experience with lifting & Fitting turning Valves, Pipework (i.e. globe, gate, flow control & SRVs)
  • Extensive Rigging Shutdown experience
  • OHS certifications
  • Forklift ticket & Mobile Crane tickets & experience

The successful candidates can expect:
  • Excellent rate of pay + penalties + allowances
  • 50+ hour working week

  • Bus to & from the site (Home Saturday nights)
  • travel rate paid per hour traveling to the site
